Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been in business
Creekside Critters Pet Sitters started pet sitting and dog walking in West Fort Worth, Benbrook and White Settlement in 2020. Since then, the demand for their services has grown and they've expanded their service areas to include Azle, Aledo, Lake Worth River Oaks and parts of Weatherford.
Is my pet sitter background checked?
Yes! All of our pet sitters go through a federal, state and county background check process before they are hired to be a part of our team.
Are you bonded and insured?
Absolutely! We are insured and bonded through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Ask about what our insurance covers in your meet & greet! Insurance, and bonding information is available upon request.
How do I get started?
To get started, please complete the contact us form, and let us know how we can be of service to you and your pet(s). We'll get back to you ASAP (typically 2 hours or less) to make sure you are in our service area, get a little more info, send you a link to get set up in our scheduling system, and schedule a free in-home meet and greet with your pet sitter.
What if my pet sitter is not available
Our team leaders accompany their pet sitters to all meet & greets so that they can fill in when your regular sitter is not available. We will never change sitters without notifying you ahead of time.
Can I schedule services directly with my primary sitter?
No. The preferred method of scheduling is for the client to schedule their own services through our scheduling software or app. This way we can ensure that there are no missed visits. Any visits that do not get scheduled through the scheduling software or by contacting Creekside Critters Pet Sitters directly will not be covered by the business insurance should something go wrong.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Creekside Critters Pet Sitters charges 50% of the total invoice for all cancellations within 48 hours of the first scheduled service. If a client forgets to cancel and the pet sitter shows up for a visit that is not needed and the client is home, the client will be charged full price.
What about short notice requests?
Things come up and we are more than happy to schedule pet care on short notice. However, we may be booked at the time you need us but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Requests made within 48 hours of the time needed will need to be added to the schedule by our team.
Do you charge extra for holidays, weekends and late nights?
No. These are the times when pet parents need us most.
